String Furniture is a leading Scandinavian design company that produces, among other things, the iconic String® System from 1949 by Nisse and Kajsa Strinning, and Pira G2, a new take on the 20th century classic. More than 95% of our furniture is made in Sweden, using renewable, recyclable or recycled materials.

VENGE
VENGE is about three things: Design, acoustics and upcycling. The ambition is to take something that the world is full of: Noise and plastic waste and turn it into something that the world cannot get enough of: Silence and Danish Design.The panels are made of a felt material developed and tested for acoustic use. The material has a sound damping coefficient of 0,85. The rawmaterial is 75% post-consumer PET plastic. The remaining 25% is PET as well meaning that the panels are 100% recycleable.

Today, our models are developed and produced in Sweden, from where all order shipment also takes place. Ecolabelling Denmark is responsible for the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and the EU Ecolabel in Denmark and acts as an independent application body and control body in relation to the official Type 1 ecolabels. Today it is possible to certify furniture in many different species, with either the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and/or the EU Ecolabel.
